ABOUT
Noah Laski, born and raised in Los Angeles, California, found a passion for dance at the age of ten. Noah’s sister inspired him to start dancing at his local YMCA. Noah has studied ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, modern, musical theatre/broadway, floorwork, hip hop and all of its umbrella styles, and so many more. Before attending AMDA LA, Noah had been dancing competitively as well as studying dance at his performing arts high schools, Van Nuys High School and Santa Susana High School. Noah is passionate about educating young dancers and has found this work to be deeply rewarding and filled with some of his favorite memories. Noah loves how the body is able to say, emote, and show more than what the brain is capable of saying. Most people feel emotions, but dancers are able to show it with their bodies. Noah is committed to educate youth and community about hip hop culture. Some hobbies Noah pursues outside of dance are editing, photography, driving, and mentoring. Something that stands out about him as a performer and a person is that he is always a student, which allows him to continue evolving as an educator. He is always learning new skills while also preaching the history of dance styles for the culture. Noah’s life philosophy is, “Good, better, best. Never let it rest, until your good gets better, and your better gets best.” This quote was from his childhood Karate Sensei. Upon graduating with his B.F.A. in Dance Theatre, Noah is ecstatic to pursue a life in performing arts.
